Royal Sommerhus is a character-greeting venue for Anna and Elsa. While Frozen was set in a fictional kingdom instead of Norway, we grudgingly concede that the meet and greet features traditional Norwegian architecture and crafts. Having visited Norway, we think Disney did a decent job when it comes to authenticity.

During times of peak meet and greet, Royal Sommerhus has multiple rooms with multiple Annas and Elsas receiving guests simultaneously. If you’re visiting World Showcase in the afternoon, waits tend to be shortest around lunchtime (12:30-ish), 4 p.m., and 6–7 p.m.

The Royal Sommerhus is modeled after an actual building at the Sverresborg Trøndelag Folk Museum in Trondheim, Norway.
