Disneyland Resort hotel guests have privileges and amenities unavailable to those staying outside the World. Though some of these perks are advertising gimmicks, others are real and potentially valuable. Here are the benefits and what they mean.

Convenience

If you don't have a car, commuting to the parks is easy via the Disneyland Monorail or a short walk to the parks. Guests staying in the Grand Californian Hotel can use an exclusive entrance in to Disney California Adventure. Use of this entrance restricted to only hotel guests for the first couple hours of the day, and then opens to all guests after that. Guests at Pixar Place Hotel have access to an exclusive entrance located across the street from the hotel. The entrance enters the park into the Paradise Gardens Park area of DCA.

Early Entry At The Theme Parks

Disneyland Resort hotel guests have access to Early Entry at both theme parks, allowing access 30 minutes before the general public each day. Either Disneyland or Disney California Adventure are available on alternating days. This benefit is subject to change without notice. Early entry can be quite valuable if you know how to use it, but it can also land you in gridlock.
