Universal Orlando bills Rock The Universe, its annual weekend of roller coasters and fist-pumping praise rock, as "Florida's biggest Christian music festival." This hard-ticket after-hours event attracts hordes of surprisingly rowdy church youth groups, who get access to the parks starting at 4 p.m., and keep boogieing for the Lord until 1 a.m.
Concerts take place across three stages inside Universal Studios Florida, and start after the park closes to day guests at 6 p.m. Most of the park's top attractions (except Diagon Alley) operate during Rock the Universe, and Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is reprogrammed with Christian rock songs. There's also a Saturday night candlelighting ceremony, and a Sunday morning worship service in the Fear Factor Live stadium (we always pray at that show).
