Mermaid Lagoon Theater, a theater-in-the-round venue, is home to King Triton's Concert. The show itself is not great but the presentation is dazzling. The entire show takes place suspended in the air to simulate an underwater feel. Ariel (a live human actor), as well as puppets and other props move around effortlessly. It's unlike any other Disney stage show we've ever seen.

Touring Tips

This show does not have showtimes. It runs continuously and has a posted wait time which indicates the time until the next show starts. Due to the shape of the venue, every seat in the theater is good. We recommend exploring Ariel's Playground until 15 minutes before the show starts. Then jump in line just to make sure the theater doesn't fill up before you get a seat.

How's It Different From the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Versions?

King Triton's Concert is exclusive to Tokyo DisneySea.

Is it English Friendly?

The entire show is in Japanese.

Note: Mermaid Lagoon Theater closed along with the rest of the park during the pandemic in 2020. The show has not reopened since then.
