The sparkling spires of Mermaid Lagoon will draw you in closer, then you'll be greeted with a huge bronze statue King Triton. Inside you'll experience life "under da sea" with Ariel and her friends from The Little Mermaid.
Most of the attractions in Mermaid Lagoon are for kids, specifically smaller children. In many ways, Mermaid Lagoon is a designer playground, but adults should still take some time to explore it, especially the Ariel's Playground walk through area that recreates the settings from the movie.
Mermaid Lagoon Theater, a theater-in-the-round venue, is home to King Triton's Concert. The show itself is not great but the presentation is dazzling. The entire show takes place suspended in the air to simulate an underwater feel. Ariel (a live human actor), as well as puppets and other props move around effortlessly. It's unlike any other Disney stage show we've ever seen.
