    Big Band Beat

This attraction will close permanently on October 1, 2025.
Its final day of operation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

Description And Comments

Big Band Beat is Tokyo DisneySea's Broadway-style musical revue stage show. Unlike most other live entertainment in TDR, Big Band Beat doesn’t rely too heavily on characters. We enjoy Big Band Beat, especially the show stopping ending where Mickey Mouse plays the drums and tap dances. However the show has been downgraded significantly in recent years. Gone is the live band and a good chunk of the dancing cast. It's still entertaining, but not a must see like it used to be.

Big Band Beat uses a free ticket lottery system to guarantee entry. It's heartbreaking when you lose, but thrilling when you win.

  • Show Entry requests must be made in the official Tokyo Disney Resort app.
  • You can only submit a Show Entry request one time per day, per show.
  • You're allowed to enter the Show Entry up to 30 minutes before the performance.
  • You must have all the park tickets of the people in your party and Show Entry request at the same time. If not, you won't be seated together, or your other party members may not win the lottery, and miss the show.
  • If you win, a will be placed in you Tokyo Disney Resort app that lists your show time and seat number. Each person in your party who entered the Show Entry will receive a QR code.
  • The QR code in the app needs to be scanned by a cast member before you enter the venue.

Touring Tips

Big Band Beat is an extremely popular show. Guests wait multiple hours to guarantee a seat in the limited first-come-first-serve seating area. If you did not win the lottery, you'll need to wait for these seats. We recommend getting in line at least 90 minutes before show time. You will see a queue roped off in front of the Broadway Theater, that is the stand-by line.

How's It Different From the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Versions?

Big Band Beat is exclusive to Tokyo DisneySea.

Is it English Friendly?

The entire show is in English.

NOTE: There is absolutely no photography or video recording allowed during Big Band Beat. Cast members are very strict with this rule. Any video or pictures seen on this page were taken during a private media event, with permission from the park staff.
