The runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend is a race with with an undefined and therefore easy-to-change theme. The 2024 dates are April 18-21, 2024, with four events.
Springtime Surprise Yoga
It's helpful to stretch before a run, and this yoga event promises that and more. Held at 5 a.m at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Cost is around $112 per person.
Neverland 5K
On Friday, April 19, runners will embark on a 3.1-mile race themed to Peter Pan. Beginning at 5 AM, racers will see characters all along the course and receive gifts like a finisher medal, participant shirt, and personalized bib.
Registration costs between $108 and $118 per person.
Adventure is Out There 10K
On Saturday, April 20 runners will embark on a 6.2 mile race themed to Pixar's Up!. Beginning at 5 AM, racers will see characters all along the course and receive gifts like a finisher medal, participant shirt, and personalized bib.
Registration fees will depend on when you sign up, and range from $151 to $161 per person.
Hakuna Matata 10-Miler
The longest and last event of the weekend. Held on Sunday, April 21, this 10-mile run celebrates the anniversary of Disney's The Lion King. Racers will see characters all along the course and receive gifts like a finisher medal, participant shirt, and personalized bib.
Registration fees will depend on when you sign up, and range from $212 to $222.
runDisney Stitch's 'Ohana Challenge
Oh, you laugh at a 5K? Chuckle at a 10K? Positively chortle at a 10-miler? Well how about all three? You can sign up for this Challenge where you compete in all 3 of the above races and come away with 4 medals -- 1 for each race and a special challenge one.
