Unofficial Guide Adult One-Day Touring Plan
From the Unofficial Guide book, this is the standard one-day adult touring plan. This plan requires a lot of walking and some backtracking to avoid lines. Extra walking and morning hustling will spare you 4 or more hours of standing in line. How far you get depends on how quickly you move from ride to ride, how many times you rest or eat, how quickly the park fills, and what time the park closes. During days of peak attendance, the Magic Kingdom may open at 8 am or earlier. If touring during a holiday, try our holiday plans.

Adult Plan-One Afternoon and One Full Day
These day-and-a-half plans work perfectly if you're arriving in Orlando late in the morning of your first vacation day, and can't wait to start touring. They also work great for families who want to sleep in one morning after spending a full day in the Magic Kingdom the day before. Attractions include TRON: Lightcycle Run, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Under the Sea:Journey of the Little Mermaid, plus classics like Space Mountain, and Peter Pan's Flight.
One-Day Not-A-Touring-Plan Plan for Adults
For the type-B reader, this touring plan avoids detailed step-by-step strategies for saving every last minute in line. To paraphrase one of our favorite movies, theyre more guidelines than actual rules. Use these to avoid the longest waits in line while having maximum flexibility to see whatever interests you in a particular part of the park.
Two-Day Not-A-Touring-Plan Plan for Parents and Adults
Instead of a step-by-step list of attractions to visit, these "Not-A-Touring-Plan" plans are a loose collection of guidelines we use when telling folks how to tour the Magic Kingdom. Most of these plans (there are more for parents, and for the other parks) aren't more than a dozen sentences long. You'll have a solid strategy for beating most of the crowds, with the most flexible schedule possible.
Afternoon and Full-Day Not-A-Touring-Plan Plan for Parents and Adults
Instead of a step-by-step list of attractions to visit, these "Not-A-Touring-Plan" plans are a loose collection of guidelines we use when telling folks how to tour the Magic Kingdom. Most of these plans (there are more for parents, and for the other parks) aren't more than a dozen sentences long. For example, one step in the plans is "Tour Liberty Square next." See those attractions in any order. Stop to get character autographs, to shop, or to rest. Continue the plan whenever you're ready. You'll have a solid strategy for beating most of the crowds, with the most flexible schedule possible.
