Description And Comments
Dreaming Up! features 5 parade floats, an infectious soundtrack that includes classic Disney music (Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo, A Whole New World, and many more), dancers, and dozens of Disney characters. The floats are colorful and tower over the parade route, they also include an a eye-catching gimmick of "flying" characters. In one part of the parade, Peter Pan and Wendy dangle and twirl over the audience, and in another Mary Poppins appears to float in mid-air.
Touring Tips
Parades are one of the most popular and high profile forms of entertainment at Tokyo Disneyland, especially new ones like Dream Up! It's not uncommon to see park guests at park opening grabbing seats in the prime viewing locations in Tokyo Disneyland's central hub. Besides the die hard fans who grab seats early in the day, most park guests will begin getting spots one or two hours before the parade starts. Luckily Tokyo Disneyland's parade route is massive and has plenty of room for viewing. If you can't find a spot to watch the parade in the park's central hub, try finding a spot in Westernland (near Country Bear Theater), or the area near Pooh's Hunny Hunt and Toontown.
How's It Different From the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Versions?
Dreaming Up! is exclusive to Tokyo Disneyland.
Is it English Friendly?
Some of the characters speak a few lines of dialog in English and Japanese. Overall, language has no bearing on the enjoyment of this parade.
