Wrapped around the southern shore of the kidney-shaped lake, Pixar Pier (formally known as Paradise Pier, Disney's version of a seaside amusement park from the 1920s) is home to Pixar characters which aren’t already represented in Disney California Adventure’s other lands, such as Cars Land.

Pixar Pier is made up of four themed “neighborhoods” inspired by Pixar films, including The Incredibles, Toy Story, and Inside Out. A fourth neighborhood is kind of a catch all for all the characters that don’t fit in to the other areas of Pixar Pier, and is anchored by Pixar Pal-A-Round , which is a Ferris wheel featuring Pixar-themed gondolas.

The Incredicoaster (formerly known as California Screamin') towers over most of Pixar Pier. This roller coaster appears to be wooden from a distance, but it is made entirely of steel. Incredicoaster features over 6,000 feet of track, a 0-to-55 mph launch, and scenes featuring the super family from The Incredibles.

Note: Most of the attractions (except Toy Story Midway Mania!) in Pixar Pier will close early for World of Color performances.
