The Walt Disney World hotels suggest babysitting from an independent company that provides in-room sitting at WDW and surrounding areas.

The service, Kid's Nite Out provides sitters older than age 18 who are insured, bonded, screened, reference-checked, police-checked, and trained in CPR.

Sitters bring along activities to entertain your kids in your room, but they cannot leave the hotel grounds, transport your children, or have your children participate in any water-based activities (so, no baths or swimming). Bilingual sitters may be available.

Contact Kid's Nite Out at 407-828-0920 or 800-696-8105 or kidsniteout.com.

Hourly rates (4-hr minimum) are:

  • 1 child, $30
  • 2 children, $33
  • 3 children, $36
  • 4 children, $39
  • 5 or more children, $42

Starting before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. incurs additional fees, plus a one-time transportation fee is also required. Make sure you understand all costs in advance, and be prepared to offer a cash gratuity for great service.

Other Orlando-area companies may also offer in-room babysitting.

Note: The group child care centers ("kids' clubs") that were previously available in several of the deluxe level resorts were discontinued in Summer 2018.
