In 1993 at age 17, I bought my first plane ticket to Paris at a brick-and-mortar travel agency with money I had worked two summers to save. The booking agent typed in my info into her green screen computer and printed out my ticket, handing it to me in a narrow paper envelope. “Don’t lose it!” she cautioned, and my lifetime of wanderlust began.

As a young person, I traveled extensively around the United States, Canada, and Mexico on a shoestring budget. I lived out of a tent and my car for weeks at a time, taking in our beautiful country, falling in love with Mexico and its people, and learning about new cultures and foods. I am older now with 2 children of my own, and I tend to travel on a slightly larger budget, preferring hotels with air conditioning and king size beds, but I have never lost my passion for exploring.

Now with a grade-schooler and middle-schooler, I have two wonderful and adventurous travel companions in addition to my husband. They are experienced travelers and take bumps in the road (or the air) in stride. We are a neurodiverse family. Some of us have food sensitivities and/or mobility issues. We have learned to embrace our differences to create travel experiences that work for us.

I take the knowledge, creativity, and eye for detail I have learned throughout the years to design beautifully crafted trips for my clients. I will be there to help, every step of the way.

I live in Reno, Nevada, with my daughter and son (Emelina and Benjamin), two cats, one dog, a myriad of fish, two pet rats, a handful of foster kittens, and my very patient husband, John. I have degrees in both Wildlife Biology and Education. While traveling you will often find me taking a ridiculous number of wildlife photographs and hanging out with all the kids.

I enjoy all things travel, but especially all-inclusives, cruising, European travel, and theme parks.
