Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel Information: Rooms, Pools, Dining, and More

Toy Story Hotel Overview

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel is themed to the Disney and Pixar's Toy Story film series. It sits near the resort's Bayside Station, which is one of the stops on the Tokyo Disney Resort Line, which is Tokyo Disney's version of the monorail found in Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Toy Story Hotel is considered to be the resort's moderately priced hotel option, therefore it isn't as lavishly themed as other official Disney hotels on site, such as Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel.

Toy Story Hotel also consists of a plaza and courtyard filled with large Toy Story character figures and decorations, as well as a restaurant and a shop.

Rack rates for Toy Story Hotel range from around $250 USD to $400 USD for a view of Tokyo Bay or views of surrounding hotels and parking structures.

The official Tokyo Disney Resort hotels can be booked on the Tokyo Disney Resort Online Reservation & Tickets website, which is in full English. Please note that the official TDR hotels sell out extremely fast, sometimes as soon as the reservation window opens, which is 9 AM (JST), five months before your arrival date. When your reservation window opens, be ready and waiting at your computer.

Toy Story Hotel's Rooms

Toy Story Hotel rooms feature a look inspired by Andy's Room from Toy Story. Room amenities include HDTV, mini-refrigerators, hot water pot (with instant coffee and tea), safes large enough for laptops, and wireless Internet connections. In your room's bathroom, you'll find shampoo, soap, and conditioner, as well as a toiletry accessory kit containing toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair comb, cotton swabs, and more. The nightstand between the two beds has two power outlets and two USB-A ports. Rooms also contain a wall with four hangers and a desk

Each room contains two twin beds and a trundle bed. Some rooms contain a fourth pull-down bed.

Toy Story Hotel bathrooms are made up of three parts, each of which is separated by doors that lock. To the left is a shower room with a bathtub and removable shower head. The center is a sink area with a mirror, one sink, and limited counter space. To the right is a small room with a toilet. The toilet is a luxurious Japanese bidet that features heated seats and a stream of warm water to clean your rear end. If you don't wish to use any of these extra bidet features, simply flush it with the lever attached to the toilet itself. If you do want to try out the bidet, it's controlled by a panel with buttons.

Toy Story Hotel Room Types

Tokyo Disney Resort categorizes all of Toy Story Hotel's rooms based on the configuration of the room and what you see from inside the room.

Here's the system Disney uses:

  • A Standard Room includes two full-sized beds and a trundle bed that can be stored under one of the other beds when not in use. Rooms may look out on to the front of the themed area in front of the hotel, or other neighboring hotels.
  • A Superior Room includes two full-sized beds, a trundle bed that can be stored under one of the other beds when not in use, and a fourth pull-down bed. Rooms may look out on to the front of the themed area in front of the hotel, or other neighboring hotels.

Each room has a TV that looks like a giant Etch A Sketch.

Restaurants and Dining at Toy Story Hotel

Toy Story Hotel has one full-service restaurant:

Lotso Garden Cafe

Lotso Garden Cafe is a buffet with views of a Tokyo Bay. The buffet serves everything from meat dishes, noodles, curry, fish, salads, fresh fruit, and more. There’s also a large variety of delicious desserts. Even though the price is around ¥3500 per a person, you’re getting a great bang for your buck here because the buffet is all you can eat. Besides your stomach, the only other limit is time. Each party is given 90 minutes to finish their meal. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available. Lotso Garden Cafe is exclusive to Toy Story Hotel guests.

The entrance to Lotso Garden Cafe sits near the hotel's lobby.

Shopping at Tokyo Toy Story Hotel

Toy Story Hotel's gift shop is Gift Planet and sits just off the lobby. As you'd expect from a Disney gift shop, Gift Planet has a decent collection of souvenirs ranging from small trinkets such as keychains and pens, to shirts and Disney princess items. Prices for these items are what you'd pay in the theme parks. Gift Planet also offers the mega popular Tokyo Disney-branded cookies, chocolate, coffee tins, and similar items.
