Park: EPCOT |
Date: Wed., Nov. 20, 2019 |
Time: 9:00am - 9:00pm |
•Start at International Gateway |
Plan Summary: This plan is for 2 adults on a Crowd Level 1 day. The concept is to park at Disney Springs at 8:00am, Lyft to Boardwalk, rope drop at International Gateway and do Frozen Ever After without a FastPass+. Catch Mission Space with a 9:20 FPP, take a break and hit SpaceShip Earth with our 2nd FPP at 10:30. Then, start a clockwise World Showcase loop that starts at Italy so that we catch the 1st Sergio performance, the skipped pavilions will be picked up at end of day when we come back to this area to see the Chinese Acrobats. Then, with a 3:40pm Soarin FPP in mind, we planned the pavilion 'Stay Times' for this loop to match movies and sidewalk acts along the way. After using the 1st Soarin FPP at 3:40, we will likely get a FPP for a 2nd Soarin and stay in the Soarin area until that 2nd Soarin is over. Then, we pick up the pavilions we missed earlier and watch the Chinese Acrobats. Eventually going to Test Track at the very last of day (using an FPP if we can get it). Then walk to fireworks. When they finish, try to sneak an 'out and return' on the Skyliner as we exit Epcot at the International Gateway. Then take Disney Bus back to Disney Springs to a late dinner reservation at Terralina. |

Additional Notes: Start the GPS recording APP in iPhone at rope drop. |

Your Plan Steps
STEP | ARRIVAL | WAIT | DURATION | FREE TIME | WALK TIME |
---|---|
1) Frozen Ever After
Notes:
Viking Boat - 16 riders, 4 per row. WET SEATS: 1st & 2nd Row, Left Seat... All electric animatronics, Olaf is best example. The regular queue has lots to see. Pray for a breakdown while riding, just for the experience ;)
2) Mission: SPACE Green
Uses Lightning Lane Multi Pass
Notes:
4 in a row inside a capsule. 10 capsules per spinner. 4 spinners total. BUTTONS do NOTHING but beep. When the time to decide to go Green or Orange comes, we can split up here for the ride portion.
3) Break
10:00am for 26 minutes
** Staying inside the park Notes: Shop in Future World center, Mouse Gear and Eat... There will be 30 extra food carts around the lake for International Food and Wine Festival, so don't eat too much, too early. Walk to END UP at SE for FPP at 10:25 |
4) Spaceship Earth
Uses Lightning Lane Multi Pass
Notes:
2 per seat, 4 per vehicle. Front row is better. A MUST READ before riding SE: https://www.themeparkinsider.com/flume/201909/6988/
5) Kringla Bakeri og Kafe
10:45am for 10 minutes
Notes: Take a look but SKIP this if it is busy, we pass here again as early as 5:30 enroute to Germany and lots again after that. On the way to Italy, this is best time to look at the model railway which is just after Germany. |
6) Italy Pavilion
Notes:
They use Pennsylvania water for their pizza dough. 20 minute'Sergio' is at 11:50. A flag throwing show might arise from the pavement. Murano glass on left. Watch Sergio from American side, so we can leave Sergio early to make the 12:00 USA film.
7) American Adventure Pavilion
Notes:
Definitely watch 29 minute 'American Adventure' film at 12:00.
8) Japan Pavilion
Notes:
Must see Mitsukoshi Department Store and try Sake in the rear of store. Check out the famous never used event building at the rear. Matsuriza is a Japanese Taiko drum show 1:10pm
9) Morocco Pavilion
Notes:
Gotta try a Moroccan Mint Iced Tea. The only pavilion in which the country's government aided in the design.
MATBOUKHA GROOVE band or B'net Al Houwariyate dancers
10) France Pavilion
Notes:
First, check if 20min 'Serveur Amusant' is playing at 2:15, if YES then go to Bakery, watch 2:15 act, hang around 20min more, then 18min 'Impressions of France' seated film at 2:45pm. If NO, go directly to film for 2:15 show, then Bakery, then leave
11) United Kingdom Pavilion
Notes:
Check out the Historical Research Center, the Maze and Yorkshire Fish Shop. Lots of music possibly here.
12) Canada Pavilion
Notes:
The Country Pavilion that almost wasn't. Not much here. Alberta Bound band and maybe Raffy. When leaving use Le Cellier entrance to see the Canadian gardens.
13) Living with the Land
Notes:
ASK FOR FRONT ROW on LWTL.
RE: Soarin, once directed to one of the three concourses, before seating area, politely request to wait an extra cycle for seats in row B1 (B for center 10 seats, 1 so no feet hanging in front of you)
14) Soarin' Around the World
Uses Lightning Lane Multi Pass
Notes:
While in line, try to get a 2nd Soarin FastPass+, this FPP could save 15 minutes of InQueue wait time. NOTE: 5:30pm is latest we want to get in 2nd Soarin so we can make 1st Acrobat ACT and if that late, we have to see Germany AFTER China.
15) Break
4:30pm for 30 minutes
** Staying inside the park Notes: Shop in Future World center (Art of Disney) and Eat before 2nd Soarin time. Even check out the Sea Tank by Nemo (enter thru 'exit' to see this)... |
16) Soarin' Around the World
Notes:
While in FPP line (if we get one for this 2nd Soarin on same day).. try to FastPass+ TestTrack for just before Fireworks.. The TT FPP could save 10 minutes of InQueue wait time.
17) Break
5:00pm for 10 minutes
** Staying inside the park Notes: Walk+Boat and END UP AT German Pavilion at 5:50 pm. Friendship Boats go from Mexico side Dock to Germany OR if 2nd Soarin is late go directly to Acrobats. |
18) Germany Pavilion
Notes:
Another ride that was not. Go to Caramel shop. Not much else for us here. There is a neat model railway just towards Italy a little. Skip or shorten Germany is OK.
19) China Pavilion
Notes:
Joy of Tea's Jasmine Iced Tea. The curry chicken pockets are awesome.
The Temple of Heaven. Can watch 20 minute 'The Jeweled Dragon Acrobats' at 6:10 7:10 8:10pm
20) Reflections of China
21) Norway Pavilion
Notes:
The Smell of the Puffin's Roost. The sod roof. Extending time here is OK
22) Mexico Pavilion
Notes:
It is all indoors.
Listen to Mariachi Cobre mariachi band.
Do the Three Caballeros ride.
Even come back here during the next break and eat at the great San Angel Inn, the Chris Barry favorite restaurant, just be sure to leave in time for Test Track
23) Break
7:45pm for 54 minutes
** Staying inside the park Notes: Then EAT-SHOP-EAT-SHOP... Walk to END UP AT Test Track on time |
24) Test Track
Notes:
Ask for the roomier front seat. Try to FastPass+ this while in 2nd Soarin line or later...
25) EPCOT Forever
Showtime: 9:00pm
Notes:
The fireworks control room is atop Mexico. Maybe try to do an 'out and return' ride on the Skyliner gondolas after we exit Epcot through the International Gateway
