Being at Epcot for rope drop is important if you want to beat the crowds and go on popular rides like Test Track, Soarin', or Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure with little to no wait. The following tips will help you make the most of Rope Drop at Epcot. Note that Disney occasionally tinkers with its opening procedures, so the information here is subject to change.

Which EPCOT entrance should you use? The International Gateway is about 10 minutes closer to the family-friendly Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, in World Showcase’s France Pavilion, than the main park entrance, and that’s a huge head start. But if the rat ride isn’t a priority, then enter at through the main entrance instead for easier access to Soarin’ Around the World, Test Track, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (when it starts offering a standby line).
